"As a barristers chambers our marketing database has been kept separate from our practice data. This is mainly because the marketing components of practice management software are usually an add-on and as such are, in my experience, not necessarily developed enough to offer sufficient functionality. Originally our database was developed using Microsoft Access, which whilst it had the benefit of flexibility, the size and complexity of the database reached a point where a specific marketing system was the next logical step. As I had developed our original access database over a period of about 7 years (it was my third child!), I was adamant not to move for anything less than a great product.

Having looked at a number of systems I was impressed that Logical Office was the only one I had seen which was actually designed with the end-user in mind. It is a system which puts value on the data for an individual at a company rather than just the company itself. I was satisfied that Logical Office could do all the tasks I would want to do with additional benefits to my previous system. Particular aspects of Logical Office which sold me on it were facilities like the ability to manage all bounced-back emails and the automatic logging of emails. It has good functions for notes and tasks for contacts as well as recording all mailshots. As you would expect from a marketing system it handles mail shots well and is flexible when building mailing lists.

I am very happy with the support I have received from Logical Office, and the help with the transfer of all the data and has been fantastic - nothing seems to be too much trouble. The transfer of our original data was very smooth. Overall I am pleased and I don't say that lightly as I have high standards!"
